Recovered Fibre

Recycling is important to the paper & Board industry and also to the environment as it contributes to the efficient use of natural resources. A minimum of 75% of our trading volumes of Paper & Board comprise of 100% Recycled Grades made from recovered material such as waste materials and byproducts that have been recovered or diverted from solid waste, but does not include materials and byproducts generated from, and commonly reused within, an original manufacturing process.

Paper, paperboard, and fibrous materials from retail stores, office buildings, homes, and so forth, after they have passed through their end-usage as a consumer item, including: used corrugated boxes; old newspapers; old magazines; mixed waste paper; tabulating cards; and used cordage; constitute the various grades of recovered Fibre.
